Care for Your Sick or Dying Pet That Goes Beyond the Medical — You Don’t Have to Carry the Heartbreak Alone.

How it works:

Initial Consultation
We can meet in person or talk by phone—whatever feels easiest. Together, we’ll gently walk through your options for end-of-life care, whether hospice or euthanasia and discuss after-death care, including vigils, funerals, memorials, or graveside services.

Pet Hospice
If you choose pet hospice and a natural passing, we’ll be here with ongoing guidance and support. We can connect you with trusted specialists who offer acupuncture, homeopathy and gentle pain-relief options.

Pet Euthanasia
If euthanasia is the best choice, we’ll help connect you with one of our veterinarians. They will take care of the medical aspects, and we will be there to support you and your family throughout the entire experience.

Vigils and Laying the Body in Honor
For families who wish to keep their pet’s body at home for a day or two, we can assist with natural body care, selecting an earth-friendly casket or shroud and creating a quiet, meaningful space for final goodbyes. We can also offer guidance on using oils, herbs and simple rituals—including ways for children to participate.

Pet Burials and Cremations
We’ll help you with all aftercare decisions, from choosing fire or water cremation to arranging a cemetery or private burial. If you’d like, we can accompany you to witness the cremation. We are also happy to arrange pickup and delivery of your pet’s ashes.

Pet Memorials
We create simple, heartfelt ceremonies that honor your pet’s life and acknowledge your grief. These gatherings can offer comfort, solace and a gentle first step toward healing.

From the Heart - What Our Families Have to Say:

  • A PEACEFUL FAREWELL, THANK YOU, LISA

“I had never experienced death before, and when my dog Wally’s time came, I was completely overwhelmed. In a moment of panic, I found Lisa and it turned out to be one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. She immediately brought an ease, clarity and kindness to the situation, guiding me every step of the way while working with an incredible vet to create a peaceful goodbye. I had no idea a service like this existed - call Lisa, she will get you through.”

    —CATHERINE, WALLY’S MOM

  • SO GREAT AT WHAT SHE DOES. THERE’S NO ONE LIKE HER!

“Lisa’s thoughtful, tender approach made all the difference. She worked with our children, helping them understand what was happening in a way that felt gentle and empowering. She struck the perfect balance between seriousness and comfort, ensuring they were included without feeling overwhelmed. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide.”

    —SHANNON, DOTTIE’S MOM

  • MOM AND KIRBY

“Lisa is a talented death midwife who supports both humans and animals through the end-of-life journey. She lovingly guided my mom Cynthia through her peaceful passing and even officiated her funeral, so it felt natural to have her help with our dog, Kirby, who was 16. During such an emotional time, she brought a calming presence, and worked hand-in-hand with the vet ensuring every medical step was handled with care. Then, just as she did for my mom, she helped us hold sacred space to honor Kirby, allowing us to say goodbye in such a sweet, special, profound way. It was gorgeous, both times!”

    —GREG, KIRBY’S DAD, CYNTHIA’S SON

  • HEARTFELT AND REASSURING. LISA REALLY CARES

“Although I’ve had veterinarians come to our home for our other dogs, having Lisa present supported us in ways that are hard to put into words. Her chakra work and Reiki helped our dog Honey feel calm, and she brought a sense of peace and reverence that made all of us feel deeply supported. I only wish we had known about Lisa sooner.”

    —JAY, HONEY’S DAD

  • IN MY SADDEST MOMENT, LISA BROUGHT SUCH PEACE

“Lisa’s care and thoughtfulness were evident in every detail. She ensured we had time to say goodbye and helped us honor our blue-throated macaw, Dobbie, in deeply meaningful ways. Her guidance before, during and after euthanasia helped us in ways we don’t have words for. We’re so thankful. Wish I had known about her years ago for my other pets.”

    —ANDREA, DOBBIE’S MOM

  • COMFORT AND CALM TO EVERY HEART IN OUR HOME

“When our cat Hickory’s health began to decline, we wanted our children to feel included but not frightened. Lisa understood that immediately. She came into our home with such calm and warmth that even Hickory, who can be shy around new people, went straight to her. Lisa cared for all of us, not just Hickory. She gave our family comfort, understanding and a sense of peace we didn’t think was possible.”

    —THE COHEN FAMILY

  • SO BEAUTIFUL AND THOUGHTFUL

Lisa created an environment of love and respect during our dog’s final moments. She coordinated seamlessly with the vet and gave us time to reflect and honor him afterward. Her Reiki and energy work were a tremendous gift, bringing peace to everyone, especially Archer. My only regret is that I wish had known about her services for my other pets who already passed.”

    —ABBY, ARCHER’S PARENT

  • BLOWN AWAY

“I’m not a ‘feelings’ guy and figured the vet would cover everything. Turns out, I had no idea what I was in for. Pet Doula LA handled things I didn’t even think about and helped me get through the hardest moment of my life. Hiring Lisa (my wife’s idea) felt weird at first, but it ended up being the best decision I made.”

    —BRUCE D., AXEL’S DAD

  • WOW!

“I live alone, and when Cricket’s health declined, I was terrified of facing it without family nearby. Then I called Lisa. She immediately bonded with Cricket. He trusted her from the moment she walked in. She was there for both of us, handling every detail with tenderness so I could just be be with Cricket. Lisa was Cricket’s last friend, and somehow, it felt like we’d known her forever. Her compassion turned an unbearable goodbye into something peaceful, sacred and full of love.”

    —ALICIA, CRICKET’S MOM
